Since the Knot is imported by a New York company (straight from those kind folks in Ireland), I imagine that they're currently selling only within their own distribution network. And Wisconsin.
I'm not sure what that says about the state of Wisconsin, but it's got to mean something.
By the way, it's a damn good whiskey, if you happen to like damn good whiskeys.

A friend of mine pointed out that Milwaukee's annual Irish Fest may be responsible for stimulating demand for fine Irish whiskey in Wisconsin. Of course, that doesn't explain why the Korbel company in California used to send half of their annual brandy production to our state.
And The Knot has been around for at least a few years. I first tried it at a lake resort in Marquette County two or three summers ago.
